Nimiq 4 Set to Fly Next Month
Word is that the Nimiq 4 satellite built for Telesat will fly board a Proton Breeze M rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Sept. 19.
The satellite will support services delivered by Bell TV, formerly known as Bell ExpressVu, the satellite TV service north of the border. Offerings will include high-def programming.
EADS Astrium built the satellite. International Launch Services is handling the launch for the customer.
