Police: Man strapped drugs to genitals
MANATEE, Fla., (UPI) -- Police in Florida said a man arrested for violating his supervised release was subject to another charge when drugs fell out of his pants while he was changing.
Manatee County deputies said Jason Graham, 33, of Venice, had apparently fastened the package of prescription pills to his genitals with a rubber band and the object broke while he was changing into his jail uniform, causing the rubber band and bag to fall to the ground, the Bradenton Herald reported Thursday.
"It is apparent that Graham had this package secured around his genital area and it popped off during the changing of his pants," a supervising deputy wrote in the arrest report.
Graham, who had been arrested for violating his supervised release on a driving under the influence charge, was booked on additional charges of drug trafficking and introduction of contraband into a facility. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $50,750.
