The FCC granted (with conditions) an application from Intelsat North America LLC to modify its authorization for fixed satellite service (FSS) C-, Ku-, and extended Ku-band satellite Intelsat 704 to permit it to operate with an East/West station-keeping tolerance of +/- 0.1 degrees.
Sirius Satellite Radio was granted special temporary authority (STA) to operate an indoor repeater with an effective isotropically radiated power (EIRP) of up to 200 watts (average) and up to five indoor terrestrial repeaters with an EIRP of 0.0001 watts (average), from Aug. 19, 2008, to Jan. 25, 2009, at various trade shows listed in Exhibit A of Sirius XM Radio Inc.’s application.
