The St. John's Regional Fire Department's high angle rescue team rushed to Flatrock Saturday evening to pull three stranded hikers to safety.
Three young men hiking along the cliffs got stuck at the base of Red Head Cliff, more than 60-metres from the top.
A couple hiking nearby heard the shouts for help and called 9-1-1.
The resuce team hauled the stranded hikers to safety. They suffered a few cuts and bruises.
