Highway 75, the main route between Winnipeg and the USA, is open again after being closed for 29 days due to flooding.
A section of highway north of the town of Morris was cleared of clay dikes Monday afternoon. Morris Mayor Gavin Van Der Linde said traffic started flowing right away.
"I'm surprised. Obviously the trucks must, people hear about things pretty quickly. But there are trucks heading out of town north right now and I see a number of trucks coming into town from the north side. So it's good."
