Emergency crews in Winnipeg were called back to a home Sunday after it caught fire twice in one day.
Firefighters rushed to 928 McMillan Ave. in the Crescentwood area at about 3:45 p.m. CT.
Flames could be seen bursting out of a ground-floor window. Inky smoke billowed from the home's roof.
Police were blocking traffic and keeping pedestrians at bay as firefighters contended with the blaze.
Fire crews had left the scene a few hours earlier after battling a fire that caused $150,000 damage to the structure. The cause was not immediately known, but no one was injured.
A Winnipeg Fire Department official said the first blaze, initially called in at 2:30 a.m., was stubborn and dangerous for crews as some parts of the home had been boarded up.
