Make a dough from yeast.

Regina prepares it this way:

1 c. and 1 tbsp. flour (500 grams)
4 tsp. yeast (20 grams)

In a bowl, stir and knead 1/2 of the flour with the yeast and some warm water to make a dough.

Cover it with a clean, linen towel and allow to rise for 20 minutes in a warm place. Add the second half of the flour to the dough; knead and allow to rest for another ten minutes in a warm place.

Put the dough onto a baking sheet.

1 c. and 2 tsp. cooked ham, cut into cubes (250 grams)
1 c. and 2 tsp. onion rings or leek (250 grams)
1 tsp. caraway seeds
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream (125 ml. sour cream)

Put the ham cubes and the onion rings or leek onto the dough; add the caraway. Finally stir the two eggs and the sour cream together and pour that liquid onto the dough.

Baking for 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated 375-400°F oven (about 190-200°C).

Makes about 4 servings.
