Long time DirecTV firsttime FTA , CNX-Nano ? Must have missed something

Luckily I have been hanging DirecTV and Dishnetwork dishes for a couple decades , so mounting , elevating , bearing and powering motor was a breeze ( thankfully as instructions were vague ) . After getting good signal 75-99 I powered down , pulled meter , re-hooked cables and powered up .
This is basically where FTA veres hard right from plug-n-play past . ( CNX-Nano new from the box )
Channel manager says [ no channel ]
Channel search I put on AMC-10 ( about right sat angle ) with S=90 to 99 and Q=0 ?
DISqC= none
TP freq= 3740
LNB=11250
Multi-Dish=off
Search option ( have tried each option 0
LNB power = On

I get message box statng [ Channel search completed ] yet never any TV or radio channels posted in the list

There was nothing in USB or Smartcard port .

Am I missing something ????
Many settings it would say in manual , put on proper satellite , put on proper frequency , put in proper LNB yet failed to explain what ' proper ' is ?

Called tech I bought system from . Had me put it on 97W (139.1 mag here )
Freq 11991 and LNB Universal 1 as requested . LNB is at skew noted of -17 here .
Fine adjusted antenna as requested but regardless of where aimed Q-bar is always 0 !
I Did get S-bar for that satellite to between 80 and 99 .
It is acting like 1 setting is incorrect or not on to always get 0 on Q-bar regardless of aim or S-bar .
Any ideas ?????????????
