[Attention] Some having Problems with I-hubs and Newlinks with new bins

BROWNNOSE

BOOTLICKER
I have found that the SV8000 are having the most trouble due in part to the size of the Bin required to be loaded, then the Premier to a lesser degree but from the many ppl I have assisted on other sites as well, the Elite has been the best of the three.

I have an Elite myself and have had no issues except for the nagging Message to update S/W which goes away with a reboot.

I do not have any other I-hubs to try to Brick to test.

But there are a few test that I have found that are necessary to determine if the I-Hub or Newlink is Fixable.

Some believe that only I-Hubs and Newlinks with Lights are good candidates but I am running across some that had no lights...getting lights when an older is loaded then the latest one is loaded so there may be hope for some of them

If I may suggest a few tests for all members in this thread to test and to report on so we can see what everyone is get is to do the following.

These tests apply to all I-Hubs ad Newlinks, special instructions for "wm" I-Hubs and Newlinks

With everything Connected

1) Menu, System Information - Post all that is displayed

2) Menu, Ip Config - if Open - Post all that is displayed

3) Run Wiznet and click Search - Post all the Values you see displayed...all of them including Ver, Boardlist, DHCP or Static, Ips and Port Values.

Then again with everything Connected

1) For "e5" I-Hubs Load bin 230
2) For "wm" I-Hubs and Newlinks, Load Bin 231
3) Post info requested above

Then again with everything Connected

This applies only to "wm" I-hubs and Newlinks, after loading Bin 231 and posting your Values as outlined above. Load Bin 230 and Post the IP Config Values and indicate reading you find.

The other thing I ask is that no Factory Bins or Reboots be done as you try these various bins or unplug or replug the Devices......

Let us see what everyone has to report.... and once we have this info we can come up with some possible solutions.

This is after all Testing isn't it?

Good luck to all.
