You need these two files
SV800 Newlink V 1.2
SV8000HD_newlink_HD6 Fix Update

First update the SV8000HD_newlink_HD6 Fix Update bin then reboot and do factory reset
then
update SV800 Newlink V 1.2 to get the ipconfig reboot don't take out the usb leave it in
after the second reboot do a hard shutdown

hope this help you if you ever get channel change error in sonview hd 8000

I believe this is only on private servers, still down on public servers. If I am wrong, someone please let me know, thanks...

No new bin for the Ihub, cce dated on newer files but on some of the older files like the 5.14, there is no kill date, that is why they still work with the private servers. At least this is my understanding....of course I don't know everything and have been known to have been wrong many times. I was once wrong because I thought I was wrong but I was really right..

eloans,
yes, you are correct in your assumption that 514 works on private, i can attest to that BUT that still does not stop cce....Therefore making it super hard to move from channel to channel.....like, nightmare from H*ll.

I would not advise using the ihub file with the SVLAN, you might brick it, or screw something up, anyway if you do good luck.

I say go for it ------No individual can screw up the SV any worse than the SV IKS Team has done up to this point.

Between their incompetence and the SV greed a nice situation of errors seems to have been created.
