What is the best camcorder for under 300 dollars?

I have a 7 month old son, and I want a cheaper video camera to capture him. I want a camera that is easy, not necissarily the buttons, but how easy it is to record on a DVD. I don't know much about how to but it on my computer then burning it. I am sure I could, but i just want the simplest camera to view my video and not have to have my camcorder to do so.I also want stabilization, and something that is good in all light types. Thanks!

Don't get minidvd, get a flash drive camcorder, it is much easier to download and edit and better quality.With minidvd, you have to convert the video before you can edit it on your computer.I have the canon FS 100 flash drive camcorder. It's easy to download.
