I have been trying to add a channel and I am able to input the channel information, but then there is no save or way to see if it is actually programmed in the receiver(MAXHD.)

Does anyone have instructions on how to add a channel. Even the manual does not mention this feature in Channel Scan.

Thanks!

when you use Antenna setup try a different tp
and freq. but first delete all 129 sat channels.
the different TP and freq should save when changed.
the do a rescan.
that works on my 9000hd. I use to get 475 channels
on 129...now lucky to see 250. there is a software
problem in v/s hd's that causes the TP not to see
all the freq's each.
as a test I did a scan at first...saved and went tp
change the TP and a new freq. when I went to channel
scan later I found over 550 channels some had 50 on
them not picked up by the first scan. so I know some
are there. problem was I ended up with dup and triplicate
channels...a pain as only some work...unless you go back
and reset the TP again. so just try one setting for a TP and
freq......then save it until software is repaired. save the search
with the channels you need.
I believe there is a problem with the auto TP functions.

good luck

If you are using the 1000.1 dish with the triple LNB ; check all your settings before you try to do the Antenna aiming.

Type of LNB should be OCS-DP with power on

119 (the center lnb) is Port 1
110 is Port 2
129 is Port 3

119 Transponder should be 12239
110 Transponder 12224
129 Transponder 12239 or try 12268

DP switches off as the LNB has built in switches.

Set your Elevation and SKEW per the area you are in.
Hit on the 119 sat then SKEW the others in. It takes a little time, but it will work for you
Make sure your receiver recognizes the addon board. List your settings you are using and perhaps we can figure it out. Key is dish pointing as well as your settings. Good luck.
