I have a pc with Intel p55 M/B with1GB integrated VGA. I want to upgrade this video card to an ATI Radeon. Can I do it?If not can I install a Nvidia on this Motherboard?
As long as the motherboard supports the corresponding slot (AGP, PCI-E, etc.), then the motherboard will be able to support the video card. Depending on the video card you are wanting, you may want to upgrade your PSU as well.
Every PCI-Express x16 video card works in every motherboard with a PCI-Express x16 slot. The only exception is a very small number of off-brand motherboards that had capacitors that stuck up too high. You'll have no problem with Intel motherboards.
Yes. Any VIdeo card will work in And Motherboard. Just make sure its not an AGP as that is old and doesn't work for the P55 Motherboard. everycard past the 3*** Seriers will work Just not the 46503*** 4*** and 5*** will work.
