So im using a old presonus firepod for recording with FL studio 9, and i have a slight problem....?

also note that im useing an Hp pavillion entertainment Notebook with windows 7basically i did everything i downloaded the driver and it shows up linked to the computer and also FL.the thing thats bothering me is the sound that comes out i get a buffery sound, and it cant keep up with the tempo, the sounds come out slow.its really pissing me off... :/

id suggest getting a new computer if unless you haven't modified the setting on your speakers if you haven't try that first and then see if it sounds better and in setting you should be able to adjust the tempohope this helps and good luck
