If i got a blu-ray drive for my PC that is SATA, this drive doesnt burn DVDs, can i connect a DVD burner via IDE to burn DVDs with as i dont have another sata free but have 1 IDE slot? Will THis work?
Yes .. you can .. just make sure you set the device up correctly as master or slave on the IDE cable .. if you don't have anything IDE installed right now, make sure that the burner is put on the top connection on the cable and if it has jumpers set them accordingly .. SATA and IDE play nicely together actually ;]
