Since it's a Mac I don't think you can add anything. Unlike PCs, all of their hardware is proprietary, so you can't really add anything and all expansions must be done by Mac, not that I think they do anything. Even if you could add something, you would probably void your warranty by doing so...

AMD is much better if you do not need a lot of power and you are on a budget. The i7 is superior to anything out on the market right now, but it will cost you.

You need to describe the problem in detail. What do you mean by "it does not read any recovery dics"? Exactly how did you try to read them and what exactly happened?
