How do you go from black and white to color in Sony Vegas?

Hi i have Sony vegas 7 and i need help doing an effect in a video I'm working on. I already know how to adjust the saturation of a picture, but how do make a slow transition, where the picture goes from black &white and slowly color comes in to become a picture with color. Is this even possible?

you need t split the video where you want the transition to begin. change one clip to B/W. you then need to pull the clip from the right to the left and overlap the two clips. this will allow you to do a transition, preferably a dissolve.
