01/06/08--> DN seems to be running with standard decryption, with all previous Map calls pulled from the stream at this time (old files will work). There is nothing new in this tactic. DN is not running "open" they are using standard Control Word (CW) decryption, so they are not running the extra layer of encryption that was added in Nov. 2007 to ECM the cardless setups. So, yes any unit running standard N2 decryption should work. This is most likely so they can shuffle some channels around, move them from one TP to another, allowing for better bandwidth economy, or simply gearing up for another MECM. There is NO "switch" to N3. N3 is already on all channels. They simply stop sending N2 CWs on channels and those channels would stop working for any N2 CW decrypting units.
