ati driver query oem vs. reference?

I own a studio xps 1647 with an ati mobility 4670 1gb ddr 3 card. The driver I have is currently a dell oem. What I want to know is, that if I use a more recent one off of the ati website, will it be safe to use.I ask because dell always preach that you should only use their "certified drivers" and ati says that you use their driver "at your own risk" which doesn't sound good lol.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i know how you feel. my dell has an Intel graphics card, but they don't want me going to Intel for it.For an ATI card, i'm fairly sure its safe, and more recent. Check the ATI site for your drivers. If you cannot find them, download the "catalyst drivers".
