RCMP are investigating the discovery of a frozen body on the side of a road, 10 kilometres south of Mundare.
The man's body was found at 7:30 a.m. Monday by a person passing through the area on Township Road 522.
The autopsy has been delayed until the body has thawed.
Investigators say it's routine to consider the death suspicious, until further evidence helps to explain what happened.
Mundare is 80 kilometres east of Edmonton.
