A 9-year-old boy is in serious condition at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto after being hit by a car Friday afternoon.
Paramedics said the accident, in which the boy was pinned to a wall by a vehicle, happened around 4:30 p.m. on Sesame Street near Pharmacy Avenue and Huntingwood Drive.
Police say the boy, who suffered a broken leg, was struck by his grandfather. The accident is under investigation.
