Can we use an old dish for an HDTV Ant?

With the RELENTLESS ECM's lately, I find myself using DTV more and more. I'm about 30 miles away from a city, can I aim an old dish that way and hocus pocus I'll get a perfect picture? Or ar they on different Ohm's or something?

you would need a locals bin in order to get any channels and you would also need a hdtv receiver in order to get them.....
