cannot get ratio right on TV

I am using Nano Premium, when I set ratio to 16:9, the picture on TV is exceeded, but picture is stretched in 4:3 ratio, any idea?

PS: My TV is LG 42LE5300 42" LED 1080P 120MHz

seem to me you pick up a nice t.v,,, sound like you have your "screen mode" is set on zoom,, the best for you if you choose should be in the "wide" setting,, zoom will strect the pic up & down,, normal will pull the pic in side to side, and panoramic will make the screen as if your looking into a fish,,
