Just in case there are any pbp members out there who are suing Chrysler for any reason, I thought I would let you know some of the ramifications of Chrysler's bankruptcy filing.
The bottom line, your suit is going to be put on hold while the bankruptcy is pending. When Chrysler comes out of bankruptcy, a couple of things could happen.
1. It can pick up where it left off, only thing would be the delay. (best option for you)
2. It could be put into a general litigation file with the bankruptcy court, which would mean even a longer delay and, probably less payout for you (more probable option, considering the circumstances)
3. It could be wiped out (more probable if it is a warranty type litigation rather than a personal injury)
