Clayton Joins EchoStar Board, McDonnell at Intelsat
EchoStar said satellite industry veteran Joseph Clayton has joined the company's board of directors. The appointment increases the size of EchoStar's board from seven to eight members. Clayton served as chairman of Sirius from November 2004 through July 2008 and served as CEO of Sirius from November 2001 through November 2004. Clayton also is known for his work as executive vice president for marketing and sales for the Americas and Asia at Thomson --- Intelsat appointed Michael McDonnell executive vice president and chief financial officer, a position he will assume in November.
