Gas line rupture sparks inferno

State Road 82 in Fort Myers, FL. A construction worker operating a backhoe struck the 4" high pressure line at a road widening project. The operator was severly burned w/ 3rd degree burns over 50% of his body and was taken by Lee County EMS to Lee Memorial Trauma Center in Fort Myers. The fire is still burning while the fire department awaits TECO gas company.
