Michael needs money to cover a debt from pulling a house down. So he is going to rob a jewelry store, its time for a little Reconnaissance.
Drive to the way point at the garment factory called Darnell Brothers and Watch the cut scene.
Now get back into your car with Lester, drive to the way point in Rockford Hills.
Go to Vangelico just ahead of where you are parked, it's inside the plaza.
Hit the Right button on your directional pad to activate the camera. You need a shot of surveillance, ventilation, and the alarm.
Take a picture of the vent and the surveillance (its on the back wall on the right). And take a photo of the security keypad. Its in the back left corner of the room next to a door. However, for gold you need to get everything with one photo. Stand on the right side of the store and shoot across towards the left corner. That way you should catch everything in one photo.
Before you leave, be sure to approach the clerk in the center of the store. If you don't, Lester will have you turn back to do so.
Once done, return to Lester.
Drive straight and turn left twice until you see building construction. A way point will appear. (Make sure you park your vehicle on the way point or the game will make you return to the car.) Enter the construction site, climb the stairs and then the ladders to get to the roof.
Make your way across to the far end of the roof. Once your here you will have to climb on a small structure, then a large air conditioner. Take a picture of the main ventilation system. Its back across the same buildings you just walked over.
Now go back the same way you came to return to your car and drive back to the garment factory.
Lester will give you two ways to complete the heist: loud and dumb, or smart. Either choice will leave you having to pick a team for the heist. The better their stats are the more expensive their cut. Who ever you pick their stats will go up in the next heist and they will perform better in subsequent missions. Choose depending on your desired income and your level of skill at the Game. The less skilled your crew is, the more you must do to accomplish a profitable heist.
To get Gold:
- Time - Complete the mission within 8 minutes. Don't take too long in the jewelry store. and get across the roof quick. If you want to save time. you can jump from the roof on your way back to Lester.
- Picture Perfect - Capture all three security features in one picture. Again, just Stand on the right side of the store, and shoot across to the left corner. You should catch everything in one photo.
