"Gulliver's Travels" starring Jack Black surprisingly tops the international chart this week with $19.1 million in 20 territories and thus crosses the $60 million mark in global box office.
Charting only as high as No. 8 in North America, "Gulliver" has made swift work of drawing overseas audiences who have kept the film from winding up with merely Lilliputian-sized grosses.
In second place "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" in a whopping 43 territories managed a weekend tally of $17.3 million as the film surpassed $275 million in global receipts. Another American comedy grabbed third place, with "Little Fockers" collecting $16.8 in 28 territories as it closes in on $200 million in global dollars.
Here are the top 20 movies at international theaters last weekend, followed by international gross for the weekend (excluding North America), number of theater locations, number of territories, worldwide gross to date (including North America), and number of weeks in release as compiled Wednesday by global media measurement company Rentrak Corp.
