Hearing Set on DTV Switch
The Senate Commerce Committee will hold a hearing on the digital TV transition Sept. 23. At the hearing, the committee will assess efforts by the Federal Communications Commission and the National Telecommunications Information Administration to promote broadcaster and consumer preparedness, as well as the recent DTV switch in Wilmington, N.C.
