I have just switched broadband providers but would like to use my old wireless router, as my new one is not as good, however, when I try to connect to the internet using my old router it will not work. My computer will connect to the router but the router will not connect to the internet. Any ideas?

depending on your computer savvy. You can try this.1. Reset the router to defaults by pressing a safety pin or a needle into the reset button on the back.2. Do a power cycle - Unplug the router for at least 30 seconds, then plug back in3. Run network diagnostic or repir on windows network4. Update BIOS of Router5. Repeat 1 and 2 after 4.I hope this helped

You need to access the router's configuration page, and configure your new Internet connection. You can access the router's configuration page by typing in the IP Address of the router, into your web browser. The IP Address of the router could be 192.168.1.1, or something similar to that.
