Hey sorry about your printer. Manufacturers tend to do that a lot to try to get you to buy more ink. However we can trick them quite easily...Since the level of ink is only an approximation made by the software instead of a physical measure of the actual ink remaining we can trick the software into thinking we've put in a new cartridge. To do this, simply open up the top of your printer and push the ink button or do whatever you do when you normally replace the ink. Take out the cartridge that is supposed to be empty. Take it all the way out of the printer.Instead of throwing it away though, we're going to put it right back in. Pop it back into place and push the reset ink button or whatever you normally do to replace the ink.Now the software running the printer will think you've put in a brand new cartridge and allow you to print as usual! However this will make the ink meter on the screen be completely useless and you'll have to tell the ink levels by how well the printed results are, but it's definitely worth it.Also I recommend using refurbished ink that you can buy online for as little as 1/10 the price and that makes the whole ink thing a lot less painful.Good luck!
