How to get network drivers for windows xp without a working connection?

I need to update my network driver on my laptop so i can access the internet and complete my installation of windows xp, so how or where can i get a driver the network?

Just download the drivers to whatever machine you used to post this question. Once you have them downloaded copy them to a thumb drive or a CD and install them on your laptop.That's all you have to do. The drivers for your laptop are usually available from the Manufacturers website, Like Compaq or HP http://support.hp.com or Dell http://support.dell.com
