Limesat - How to rename Channels - With Photos
This guide will walk you thru how to rename a Channel, when you know that the one on the database is incorrect. It is hoped that the Limesat Team can use our List (Posted in the Discussions Section) to correct these CHannel names so they are correct in the Full Name mode. More on this below.

Currently there are a few channels with in correct names associated with them, this list can be found in the Discussions Section. Now and then DN or BEV nmay change Channel Names (SID's) so we need to rename them so they appear correct when we check thru the List.
The Current Bin allows for BEV and DN Full Name:
In Full name Mode, we cannot rename any Channels so we need to turn full name off in order to proceed with changing Channel Names
Steps needed to Change the CHannel Name that is displayed on the screen for us.
1) Click on Menu, Channel Options, Channel Organization: Turn BEV & DN Full Name: OFF
2) Click on Menu, Channel Options, and select a Channel that needs changing. For Example CH 213 shows TWC2.
3) Move Highlight to CH 213, notice below the channels, Icons, move cursor to the right to the "R" for rename an click ok
4) Alpha/Numeric Menu appears, with "TWC2" at the top window, Click OK and the Name is removed, Click the Red Button on the remote to bring Cursor to the left of window. Click the Letters you desire. In this case I typed "Info". Click the Green Button to Save.
5) Click Exit to get to Channel and you will now see the SID or Channel name for CH 213 is now Info
6) continue process for all Channels that need renaming.
