RCMP are investigating the death of a 41-year-old New Brunswick man who was found lying injured at the side of a rural highway on Saturday.
Police said they are treating the case as a suspicious death. A New Brunswick woman who knows the man was arrested and later released in connection with the incident, police said in the media release.
RCMP said police responded to a report of an injured man lying on Route 130 in Limestone Siding, near Grand Falls, on Saturday evening.
Corp. Pierre Ayotte says that the man was injured due to falling from a moving vehicle.
The man was transported to Edmundston Regional Hospital, where he died on Sunday. His name has not been released.
