The body of a man reported missing from his home in Seal Cove in southeastern Newfoundland Friday night was found on Saturday.
Cst. Suzanne Fitzgerald of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the body of Stewart Miles, 54, was located in a wooded area approximately three kilometres from his home.
Police began searching for Miles early Saturday morning and, with the aid of a helicopter, made the discovery around 2:30 p.m..
Fitzgerald said the investigation is continuing and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
