MLB: N.Y. Yankees at Minnesota, suspended
MINNEAPOLIS, May 26 (UPI) -- The New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins were in a scoreless tie after five innings Tuesday when the game was suspended due to rain at Target Field.

The umpiring crew made the call following an 83-minute rain delay.

New York starter A.J. Burnett and Twins' starter Scott Baker had each given up just three hits when the game was suspended.

The game will resume Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. EDT, with the regularly scheduled game to be played at 7:10 p.m., or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

There was no immediate word on who would pitch when the two teams complete Tuesday's game.
