ANAHEIM, Calif., (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero went 4-for-4 with five RBI on a grand slam and a solo homer Wednesday to lead the Texas Rangers to a 6-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Guerrero, who joined Texas this season after six seasons with the Angels, has homered three times and driven in eight runs in the first two games of the Texas-LA series. He has 18 home runs this season, exceeding his output for all of last season with the Angels.

Dustin Nippert (3-3) got the win after giving up one run in three innings in relief of Rangers starter Omar Beltre -- who allowed three runs on five hits with four walks and six strikeouts over four innings in his big-league debut with Texas, which has won 14 of its last 16 games.

Neftali Feliz pitched a perfect ninth to get his 21st save and Rangers left fielder Josh Hamilton was 1-for-3 to run his career-best hitting streak to 23 games.

Erick Aybar hit a home run and drove in two runs and Reggie Willits had two RBI for the Angels

LA starter Scott Kazmir (7-7) took the loss, allowing five runs on six hits with one walk and four strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings.
