KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 26 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero had two home runs and five RBI Tuesday in the Texas Rangers' 8-7 victory over Kansas City.

Guerrero drilled a two-run homer in the first inning and another two-run shot in the fifth -- both off Royals' starter Gil Meche. Guerrero's run-scoring double in the seventh drove in what proved to be the winning run.

Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz chipped in with solo home runs for the Rangers, who have won four of their last six.

Darren O'Day (2-2) recorded both a blown save and the win after giving up one run on three hits in a three-run Kansas City sixth. Neftali Feliz picked up his 13th save.

Brad Thompson (0-3) took the loss after giving up two runs and failing to record an out in the seventh.

Willie Bloomquist and Jason Kendall both drove in two runs for the Royals, who have lost three in a row.
