HOUSTON, (UPI) -- Joseph Ngwenya's second-half goal Saturday lifted the Houston Dynamo into a 2-2 tie with Colorado.
The marker in the 80th minute was a life-saver for Houston's Lovel Palmer, who had handed the Rapids the lead 10 minutes earlier on an own-goal scored when he accidentally put a corner kick into the bottom left of his own net.
The Dynamo (5-7-2) got the first goal of the game from Danny Cruz, who scored inside 20 minutes when he found bottom-left corner from 30 yards out.
Conor Casey got the equalizer for Colorado (6-4-3) just before halftime.
