MSV, SkyTerra Deal with Harbinger
Big news has surfaced on the mobile satellite front.
SkyTerra and Mobile Satellite Ventures said Harbinger Capital has agreed to provide $500 million of debt financing to fund SkyTerra's business plan through third quarter 2010.
Also, SkyTerra and MSV have entered into an agreement with Harbinger with respect to the possible combination of SkyTerra and Inmarsat, another provider of global mobile satellite communications services. Inmarsat is not a party to the agreement.
