For the last time, I offer a 100% working fix for Viewsat platinum/lite and Viewsat HD receivers freezing. (circa January 31st, 2009.)
Simply upload your bin file for january 11th, 2009 to your receiver. [DBPSW-090111P.PGM, or relevant file for your Viewsat machine]
If you do that you will be welcomed to the land of the viewing rather than the alternately viewing.
PS: I hope this post doesn't disappear like the previous two because it works.
