6th grader says stranger asked for "sex act"
PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Pawtucket Police continue searching for a man they say tried to entice a sixth grader.
It happened Tuesday morning as the 11-year-old was walking to the Baldwin Elementary School.
The boy tells police a man sitting in front of a home on Anthony Avenue asked him to perform a sex act on him.
The child ran from the suspect and told school officials what had happened.
The boy was walking alone at the time he was approached, but from now on he will be given a ride to school.
Police say a similar incident happened last year with a little girl, but no arrests were ever made in that case.
