Police: Vuvuzela led man to attack bar
PIEVEBELVICINO, Italy, Police in Italy said they arrested a man whose distaste for a bar's vuvuzela horns led him to fire shots from a rifle and ram his car into the building.

Investigators said the 51-year-old man from Pievebelvicino, Italy, became angry after the nearby Coco Bamboo bar blasted music from vuvuzela horns, the long plastic trumpets made famous during the 2010 World Cup tournament in South Africa.

He fired shots into the air outside of the bar, The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday. Police said the shots failed to quiet the racket inside the bar, so the man climbed into his vehicle and rammed it through the bar's windows at least three times.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said the man was arrested and taken to a psychiatric unit for evaluation.
