Sling and BlackBerry, SBCA Names Public Policy Director

Sling Media, a subsidiary of EchoStar, said a SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry smartphones will be available for download as part of a public beta beginning Dec. 30 --- The Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association on Thursday announced the appointment of Lisa McCabe as director of public policy and outreach. McCabe's work has focused on Federal Communications Commission regulatory issues at several Washington law firms as well as federal and state regulatory affairs at AT&T Wireless.
