The death of a woman whose body was found in a north Edmonton apartment was ruled a homicide Tuesday by the medical examiner.
The body of the 40-year-old woman was found in an apartment at 119th Avenue and 81st Street. Her name has not yet been released.
The police forensics van remained on the scene Tuesday evening, with investigators going in and out of the Eastwood apartment building.
The discovery has rattled people who live in the building.
"It's unsettling," said Christine Green. "I want to leave as fast as I can … to know something like this happened right in the apartment we live in is terrifying."
Police are not releasing the cause of the woman's death.
