Terms of Sheen sentence up to jail
ASPEN, Colo., (UPI) -- Sources say a Colorado sheriff is refusing to intervene on behalf of actor Charlie Sheen, who faces jail for a domestic dispute with his wife.
TMZ.com said Saturday that, according to sources, Pitkin County Sheriff Bob Braudis was leaving the details of Sheen's pending sentence to the administrator of the jail.
The report runs counter to earlier word that Braudis was agreeable to a work-release plan for Sheen, who was sentenced to 30 days for a clash with his wife in Aspen, which would have him teaching acting at a local community theater.
TMZ.com said Sheen could wind up on a jail work crew doing more-common labor before heading back to Hollywood to begin shooting his television series "Two and a Half Men" in August.
