Toys 'R' Us to run iPod return program
NEW YORK, -- U.S. retailer Toys "R" Us said for one week it would pay up to $100 to customers for turning in an old iPod music player.
The offer is limited to three iPods per customer, which must be in working order when given to the store. The stores staff will evaluate the age and condition of each device before making an offer.The program, which is not available at all Toys "R" Us outlets and is not sponsored by the iPods maker Apple Inc., will run from Oct. 17-23.
Customers will receive a "trade-up" card that can be used for a store purchase of a new device.
