What is the best computer for video editing?

I need to buy a computer, it will be for video editing only, should I get a PC or a Mac?

Mac have always been better with video and photo editing, mainly because their software is ahead of PC. Get a Mac.

PC are no slouches, get a PC with at least 8 cores, 16gb-32gb and a 2TB HDD. Adding a SSD would help too. Just purchase 'Sony Vegas 12' and 'Boris FX'. Whit this combo you can do almost anything! I hate Mac!

Macs are great for film production, like the PC they support the fastest Intel CPUs.

Go for a Mac if you have extra money, otherwise get a Windows 7 or 8 PC, and save a bit of cash!
