What type of driver does it sound like im missing?

i had to repartition vista or w.e and u hav to reinstall drivers i guess. but my computer freezes randomly within 5 minutes of startup on normal mode, but runs find in safe mode. im 99% sure its a driver issue, but which driver does it sound like im missing? if anymore info needed ask plz
