Wild bull runs loose
PHOENIX, (UPI) -- Police in Phoenix said a bull that was running loose in South Mountain Park eventually got out of town and took off for a mountain preserve.
Detective James Holmes said he wasn't sure where the animal came from but residents around Desert Foothills Parkway who summoned authorities around 12:30 p.m. Sunday said the horned animal was blocking traffic, The Arizona Republic reported Monday.
"So we sent our bull rustling officers out there to corral the big guy and he subsequently took off into the mountain preserve out there," Holmes joked.
"Evidently it was pretty big beast," he added.
